Miners in Pennsylvania find "Blob," a suspicious creature that was hiding deep in the ground. As soon as Blob gets to the ground, he starts destroying the town. Every time he eats the villagers, he grows bigger and begins to attack them more cruelly.
With the help of Professor Cobbax, a researcher on diseases at Milgate University, Russell, Shannen, and Riley try to warn local authorities of the danger, but fail. Eventually, they end up in an extreme situation where they have to get rid of blob before he becomes bigger.
